Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has prepared (with Rosnanotech and Russian Venture Company) a draft federal law “On Investment Partnership and on Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”.

According to the draft law partnership will provide an umbrella organization, or individual businessmen to implement joint investment projects or other entrepreneurial activities. Feature in fact for such a partnership rather contract between the parties, that is to register a legal person is not necessary, as members of the investment partnership can invest not only physical assets but also intangible assets. The degree of participation in the management of each partner is also determined by the contract and can not depend on the size of the contribution of a partner.

Also in the contract of partnership may be provided and other conditions of cooperation between the parties: the management side, the responsibility of the parties, the terms of participation of each of the parties, etc.
