Leaders of private equity market in Russia and CIS will be defined by independent voting

Moscow, December 12, 2011. Private Equity Russia&CIS Journal (http://www.percis.ru) announced the start of voting for the leading annual private equity award.
Private Equity Leaders Award was established in 2010 to recognize and promote best achievements of firms and individuals in the field of private equity investments in Russia and the CIS.
The winners of the award are defined by readers of the magazine and mass media AllEquityFunds through online voting. Voting is open until 15 April, 2012 on webpage www.allequityfunds.com/peaward/ The award has five nominations: Best private equity firm in Russia, Best private equity firm in the CIS (new for this year award), Best private equity financial advisor in Russia, Best private equity law firm in Russia, Person of the year on Russian private equity market.
The winners will be announced on April 25, 2012 at the main private equity market event in Russia and the CIS - 8th C5 Forum "Private Equity and Venture Capital".
“Our award was established to increase transparency of private equity market in Russia and the CIS.” – said Igor Checkoun, Editor-in-chief of Private Equity Russia & CIS Journal. “Companies and investors from Russia, CIS and other countries could be guided by results of the award in choosing local partners: independent voting allows to choose the best market players. We hope that the award would follow the success of the previous year, and market professionals would be active in choosing the leaders”.
Last year nominees received 1703 votes, the winners were Russia Partners, Ivan Litvintsev (UFG Private Equity), Financial Consulting Group, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
Co-organizer of the award is the mass media AllEquityFunds. Organizing partner is C5 group.
