| Responsibilities: |
The Associate/Principal Banker will be responsible for making a significant contribution to the development of new local business in the Corporate Sector in close coordination with the Head of North-West Federal District (who is also the Head of the RO). The Banker will play a leading role in originating, structuring and closing transactions using the full range of financing structures and instruments available to the Bank as well as monitoring loans and investments. The banker will be required to travel frequently within Russia.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Originate and execute new transactions, existing projects and proactively engage in the oversight of these projects with special focus on companies in the Russian regions with primary focus on the NW Federal District in coordination with the heads of the Federal Districts;
- Liase and work with other departments, coordinating their involvement in the project as required;
- Undertake marketing and project origination activities; help preparing marketing materials; identify good quality transactions meeting the Bank’s requirements;
- Establish and maintain high level relationships;
- Review complex legal agreements;
- Prepare and present internal investment memorandums for approvals;
- Review and own quality control of financial and other due diligence analysis;
- Actively participate in the monitoring of investments including preparation of regular monitoring reports, managing client relationship and help resolve issues;
- Gradually be able to provide guidance and coaching to more junior bankers and analysts - becoming fully involved in the detailed processing work, as and when required.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Good relevant degree from a leading university;
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience for Associate Banker level and minimum of 7 years relevant experience for Principal Banker level (e.g. banking, finance, accounting, audit or project finance), gained from a major commercial/investment bank, equity fund, advisory services or corporate finance firm, where banking/transaction skills would have been obtained.
- A dvanced understanding of investment and financial analysis and their application in investment decisions and transaction structuring;
- Had the leading role in the closure of minimum of 2 structured loans and/or equity deals;
- Computer literacy, excellent spreadsheet skills;
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English;
- Fluency in Russian language;
- Knowledge and network of business contacts in the Russian Regions specifically in the North-West of Russia will be a good plus.
